Mission & Outreach

The congregation actively reaches out to care for others. Although the congregation is small, its role in the community is large. Members of the congregation work with and contribute to many local and national charitable organizations that include: 


Children's Waiting Room, WYS Ministries, Safe Seed Foundation, Love THSC, and others.


THSC and Grace Place work together to serve the spiritual needs of University Students.
Lobster Boil

The Holy Seed Church has been a tradition for nearly five decades. This fundraiser supports both church activities and social service agencies in the community.


As part of the tradition, half of the proceeds from Children's Home need donation from local charities that directly help people in need. Five local charities and agencies including: Safe Passage, Children’s Waiting Room in the Courthouse, Children's Home Service, Voluntary Action Center, and Hope Haven.


These organizations address diverse issues the community faces including domestic abuse and crisis, poverty, hunger, and homelessness, and they provide counseling, senior services and advocacy services for children in need.
